“The set is once again dark blue with some turquoise spots. The Danes bring the screen already familiar from their national final performance on the stage and the two main artists start from opposite sides of the opaque wall and meet outside eventually. A nice effect with two screens is used, when each artist is projected on one of the big screens in the hall separately before they meet up and the main camera picks this up. There are four backing singers in a row in the background. The duo is also seen walking to the end of the catwalk of the catwalk, where they are blasted by a wind machine.
The Danes had some very obvious tuning issues with their rehearsal, but it is hard to tell whether it could have been technical as Chanee was seen fiddling with her ear monitor, while N’evergreen missed quite a few notes. It remains to be seen whether this duo find their balance before the semi-final to qualify to the final.”

KEITH:
When if came to the first vocal run through this was ropier than a boy scout knot-tying competition although it did get marginally better on subsequet performances. There is zero chemistry between the singers which is only emphasised by the screen between them at the start of the song. When Mr. N’Evergreen takes Chanee by the hand to bring her off to catwalk it looks like an older brother leading his baby sister across the road.

PETE:
The vocal runthrough was dreadful! … The main problem here is the vocals. He is the poorer vocal of the two but she seems to be in too low a key as well.
Overall, the presentation was fine but this will sink if the vocals do not improve.

Totally 80s and totally “we love” song. The Danish duo give us a concert performance, making the stage a spectacular show to see on the night of the second semifinal. This is a strong entry and Denmark can actualy win the entire thing. Vocally we are hearing the best of the duo, the camera work is obviously the best and the lights are playing the game of love and music.

Too much 80s? Those two at least deserve it as they support the song 100%. I am trying to find negative things but even the stage presentation which is based on the fake wall gimmick is working perfect for Denmark. Congratulations!
