In the beginning the stage is very subdued with the edge of the stage lit in red and some red spots in the back wall. Anna starts off with her trademark guitar, and her five backing singers that the viewers can’t see close up at all, take their place on the red edge of the stage behind Anna and their white suits reflect the red. At the climax of the song the lights turn to blue and white in an effective display in a change of mood. She will be wearing a peach coloured frock. Today she also has a sequinned black waistcoat on top the dress according to her quirky dress sense. Also she wears a tiara with pearls on her head. Added to this the audience in the arena will be given light staffs to go with this performance.
This only slightly re-worked performance from Melodifestivalen is functioning well in Oslo as well and Anna works brilliantly with the camera catching all the right angles. When you add to this Anna’s perfect but raspy vocals Sweden should not struggle to qualify for the final.

Anna’s vocals were excellent. A simple presentation of a simple song.

I had this down as the surprise non-qualifer from semi two, but baseed on what we just saw, this is sailing into the final. The red stage is very eye-catching and while I don’t like the trick of the disappearing guitar, I’m getting used to it. The backing choir who stand on the back edge of the stage really add something to this that the taped backing vocal in the Swedish final. The big difference is Anna Bergendahl. He looks a lot more relaxed and far more animated and really has a powerful connection with camera. The performance is sweet and I think that Sweden is another guaranteed finalist.

FOTIS
What we have seen in the Melodifestivalen is what we see on Telenor Arena stage by Anna. The stage colors are dark and red. The song is going to be the most spectacular along with the Danish one, in terms of camera work. The NRK team is also going to focus (like in 2010 MF) in the crowd which they hope they will carry some lights. Vocally the song is going smoothly and Anna’s voice is full of passion and sentiment. A pop mid tempo song which for sure will go the final where it will go very high this time.

The lyrics of this song are so powerful, they can make you cry and understand some true facts about life. I have to dedicate this song to Fotis, despite I should have been reporting about it. This is your time my friend Fotis!
